Legacy of Women, Inc., Path2Redemption, and The House of Refuge Church are hosting a Pardon Clinic to assist justice-involved individuals in regaining opportunities for growth and rebuilding their lives.

Date: Saturday, January 18, 2025

Location: The House of Refuge Church

Fellowship Hall Address: 408 Coker Ave, Hartsville, SC

Time: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Attendees will receive:

· Guidance on the pardon process

· Personalized support with applications

· Access to resources to overcome barriers related to past convictions

Refreshments will be provided.

This initiative seeks to empower participants to navigate the legal system, restore their rights, and reclaim their future expectations.

What is a pardon?

Eligibility requirements

A pardon is recorded alongside your criminal conviction, indicating that the State of South Carolina has determined you deserve a second chance. Additionally, a pardon restores any civil rights that may have been lost due to the criminal conviction.

To qualify for a pardon, you must meet the following requirements:

can not currently be on probation or parole;
have any pending charges;
ALL charges must be at least 5 years old.
