With the scorching climate during the summer and the freezing temperatures during the winter, Path2Redemption provides the homeless population with the necessities needed to help them adjust. Rather it's walking through the park in August passing out bagged lunches that include bottled water, or walking the area passing out sleeping bags equipped with thermal socks, hats, and gloves, Path2Redemption is there to assist!
Path2Redemption encourages those within the community to get involved by assisting in volunteering with various organizations in need of assistance, that are not financially able to work the labor within their budget. Please contact us if you can help volunteer at local churches, shelters, and other events!
Path2Redemption partners with religious institutions, after school programs, juvenile court systems, and mentoring groups to engage each participant in critical thinking that assists in reducing the violence within the community and empowers them to make better life choices.
Whether it’s depression, anxiety, post release stress, anger, fear or culture shock, every individual who has been incarcerated struggles with some form of emotional or mental adjustment. Path2Redemption reduces the recidivism amongst those being released by providing weekly support group sessions for the formerly incarcerated with their transition back into society. The meetings provide mental and emotional tools necessary to assure a successful reentry back into their family setting, community, work environment, and society.
